Condoléances
Maryse, you were so good, so kind, so gifted. Thank you for welcoming me into your heart and your home. I think of you often, and remember laughing with you about the things Henri would do (that cheese he kept in his cave, and that time he shaved his head!). I also remember how you would stand at the back door, looking at the garden but not seeing it. I always wondered what you were thinking about at those times. I will always love you and your “tresor.” Rest well, ma mere. Love, Nancy
